For the past 19 years, the Irish Institute of Training and Development has hosted their annual training and development awards recognising excellence in training and development programmes across Ireland.

Cobblestone Learning and University College Dublin are delighted to be nominated within the Best Consultancy Partnership category for our online innovation programme.

The purpose of the IITD National Training Awards is to promote excellence, best practice and innovation in training and learning & development, and to highlight the importance of this area in today’s business climate.

The innovation programme consists of 10 online challenges each covering a different aspect of innovation. The Challenges are hosted on a customised online learning management solution which allows students to communicate together and share their experience. Guided by the online platform, students conduct an innovation challenge in the field, then upload a video of their experience to an online gallery, allowing their fellow students and lecturers to review.

You can read more about the project with our case study here.

The competition is intense with ALDI/Cpl Institute, Coca Cola/TOWARD Ltd and Ulster Bank/Expression for Growth also in the running.

The awards will take place at Killashee Hotel hotel in Nass county Kildare on Friday March 3rd 2017.
